Millennials Make up 33% of the Workforce. How are you handling that?

We have been reading that Millennials make up 33% of the U.S. workforce and by 2020 they will makeup over 50% of the workplace. These workers have high expectations of employers and are looking for more than a paycheck. In fact "This generation are committed to their personal learning and development and this remains their first choice benefit from employers.  In second place they want flexible working hours.  Cash bonuses come in at a surprising third place."  There is increased interest in having a company offer sustainability, care for the environment, doing good for the community and the ability to make an impact.

We have also seen the 2014 Gallup Poll research on the "disengaged" workforce in general. Over two thirds of ALL employees are disengaged. When we combine the expectations of the Millennials to the current low engagements, what will it take for us to have an engaged workforce?

In a nutshell employees are looking for a Conscious Company run by Conscious Leadership. We need to create workplace environments accordingly. How are you changing your workplace culture to increase engagement which = increased productivity?
